MTS has been the innovation leader for fully hydraulic add-on compactors and soil improvement for many years now thanks to numerous innovative product developments.
The Hayingen-based civil engineering specialist has revolutionised the geometry, hydraulics and other components of conventional compaction technology time and again over the last few years with the development of several generations of add-on compactors and has been honoured with numerous awards for its groundbreaking inventions. The result is a technically sophisticated modular system that converts standard compactors into real all-rounders through the use of various additional options (WA, X3, etc.).
A few examples of the most important awards in the company's history are listed below:
One of the trailblazers for the BIM future
paperless, but not planless. This is how the building site of the 21st century works. MTS was crowned the state winner of the "European Satellite Navigation Competition 2016" (ESNC) for a guideline that regulates the processes of civil engineering projects by means of position tracking.
Award-winning cooperation project
MTS AG, in close cooperation with Gollwitzer GmbH, developed a special solution, which was nominated for the BAUMA Innovation Award and received the VBUM Incentive Award, so that even large-diameter pipes can be quickly and safely unloaded from the HGV, stored temporarily, picked up again and installed:
Honoured for special commitment
MTS Maschinentechnik Schrode AG was awarded a seal of approval by the Donors' Association (www.stifterverband.org) for its "special commitment to research and development". With good reason, because MTS invests around ten percent of its turnover in its research and development work every year:
The KSK Foundation presents awards for hydraulic pipe shifting adapters and compaction assistants
The Kreissparkasse foundation presented two first prizes to MTS AG at this year's innovation award ceremony. The hydraulic pipe shifting adapter and the compaction assistant, the two latest product innovations from the Hayingen automation specialist, were presented with awards.
The interchangeable adapter compactor of the Hayingen automation specialist MTS, which is traded as a "Swiss knife", was awarded this year's Gardening & Landscaping Innovation Award Medal at the 20th International Trade Fair for Urban Green and Open Spaces.
Well-informed experts nominated the Hayingen automation specialist MTS for its latest product innovation: an X3 high-frequency compactor with interchangeable adapter and energy-autonomous frequency control. The new compactor model can be equipped with various interchangeable plates thanks to the modular design principle and uses an X3 switching stage to adapt the impact force and frequency to the specific compaction requirements.
Last Thursday, Minister Nils Schmid presented this year's Dr. Rudolf Eberle Award to the Hayingen automation specialist MTS and 5 other companies. MTS received the state innovation award, worth a total of 50,000 euros, for the X3 high-frequency compactor, which can be upgraded with an interchangeable adapter and rotary mechanism. MTS CEO Rainer Schrode accepted the honorary award at a ceremonial presentation in the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.
The "BusinessChance2000" award ceremony at the CyberKongress in Karlsruhe
for innovative business ideas from research and universities was held as part of the "BusinessChance2000 - From idea to company" competition organised by the Information Centre for Business Start-ups of the Baden-Württemberg State Trade Office ifex, the Partner Network for Business Start-ups from Stuttgart Universities PUSH! and the Karlsruhe Business Start-Up Initiative KEIM.
