MTS-BASE

An MTS base (base reference station) can provide a digital construction site with correction data. Positional accuracies from 0 to 2 cm and height accuracies from 0 to 3 cm can be achieved by using a base reference station. The generated correction data is transmitted via radio, meaning that it can be received by an infinite number of consumers (with suitable hardware) within the reception range. Unlike a correction data service, a base station is independent of a mobile radio network and can also be used in regions where mobile radio reception / Internet reception is not guaranteed.

The associated MTS base software program simplifies the set-up of a base reference station on construction sites. Positions from all construction sites can be saved in this program and restored swiftly later on. It speeds up the resetting of a base reference station on changing construction sites, e.g. because a base has been displaced or base data is no longer correct.
